1. Who are we?
Corporate Games P/L organises various corporate sports championships in Australia. The provision of services and information to you may also involve companies related to CG P/L and/or third party companies.
2. Contacting us
You may change any of the personal information we hold concerning
you at any time. To do this, please contact us via email at info@corporategames.net.au
or call on (02)8354-0216 with your request. You may also contact
us in this way if you no longer want to receive update bulletins
and information.
3. Credit Card Payments
To authorise an online payment, financial information (including
your credit card number, expiry date, payment amount, card security
code and the name on your credit card) is captured by our website.
Your credit card number, expiry date and CSC are used only for the
duration of the payment authorisation process. For security purposes
your credit card number, expiry date and CSC are not permanently
stored within the Corporate Games database at any time.
Once your credit card payment has been processed, Corporate Games
has no record of the credit card number or expiry date you used.
However, the name on the card, payment amount and purpose of payment
is stored permanently as part of your payment record.
We may use your IP address to identify online payments, administer
our web site and to assist in diagnosing problems with our server.
Credit Card Security
Corporate Games uses a variety of security measures to maintain
the safety of the credit card information you provide.
Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt
all data transmission between your browser and our server. Our website
is hosted within a secure operating environment that is protected
by a firewall. Our secure operating environment is not open to the
public.
For security purposes your credit card numbers are never stored
permanently within our databases. This means we do not have a permanent
repository of credit card numbers that may be vulnerable to an attack
by a hacker.
4. Who has access to information?
Personal information collected and stored by CG P/L will be used
in connection with the events organised by CG P/L.
We may also pass on your details to third parties who assist us
in management of the events, but only in so far as it is necessary
to deliver the services to you.
We may also disclose or access personal information where:
(a) we believe in good faith that it is required by law, or
(b) if you are involved in an accident where we need to provide
the information to first aid, medical personnel, hospitals, law
enforcement, insurers or the like.
5. The information we collect
We only collect and store information about you and team members,
when you enter an event. We are not able to enter anyone in the
event without their name, date of birth, address, and contact details
- we need this information to identify you and in the event that
an accident occurs.
Where applicable, any credit card details submitted to us will
not be kept, recorded or passed on to any third parties other than
for the transaction it is intended for.
In order to improve our services to you, we ask some of our customers
to voluntarily complete questionnaires. If you do not wish to answer
one of our questionnaires, simply decline when asked.
Your personal details may also be used to send update bulletins
and information about our events, about CG P/L and its related entities,
and our sponsors' third party goods and services. Please note that
you can elect not to receive these bulletins and information at
any time (see #2 Contacting Us above).
We may also collect your personal information when you enter any
of our promotions or prize draws. If you do not want to receive
promotion-related information, you can decide not to participate
in the promotion or prize draw.
6. Web Sites
An CG P/L web site may contain links to other sites that are not
managed by CG P/L. If you are in doubt as to whether a link is to
a corporategames.net.au site, please check the address displayed
on your browser bar.
Other sites which may be accessible through our web site have their
own privacy policies and data collection practices. We cannot accept
responsibility for any information you may divulge to non-CG P/L
sites.
7. Security
CG P/L seeks to take all reasonable security measures to safeguard
against risks of loss, unauthorised access, destruction, use, modification
or disclosure to or of any personal information you have disclosed
to us.
Our 'secure sites' always begin with the URL headings
https:. Please note that any personal information you wish to send
us outside of these secure areas may be subject to the ordinary
risks of unencrypted internet communications.
Please be aware, if you are contacting us via the internet or email
that unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be
guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal
information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information
you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive
your transmission, we take all reasonable steps to ensure its security.
