Games Charity Redkite

Redkite supports children, young people and their families through cancer by providing emotional support, financial assistance and educational services. This support includes funding social workers to support families in hospitals, assisting with the extra financial expenses due to long periods of hospitalisation, and providing assistance through education grants to ensure that children or young people can keep up with school or tertiary studies. Redkite is there for families from the moment a child is diagnosed, throughout the treatment period and beyond, and is known by the families as providing the “must haves”, not the “nice to haves” through the cancer journey.

Redkite receives no government funding. With the continued support of the community, Redkite aims to further expand service reach and capacity so all children and young people with cancer receive the support they need.
