Games Community

Corporate Games in Australia are Members of the Worldwide Corporate Games Community.

In 1986 an Australian, Dr Maureen Johnston, conceived and developed the concept of the Corporate Games and in 1988 the first World Corporate Games was held in San Francisco.

The license to stage Corporate Games in Australia was acquired in 1991 with the first Australian Corporate Games held in Sydney in 1993.

The Corporate Games Community of which Australia is part comprises state, national, regional and worldwide multi-sports festivals which are open to participants from organisations of every size and type.

Competitors of every ability, age and background, of every part of the globe are welcomed. They can participate in one or any of these Official Corporate Games.
